If your dog has been getting into a lot of fights lately, you might want to read this. If only our dogs could talk, we would know the reason why they get into all these scuffles, but since they can’t, it is up to us owners to interpret them.

Dogs can either get into mini scuffles or real fights. Mini scuffles serve the purpose of teaching them about their complex social system. Scuffles are characterized to be loud and vicious sounding. Dogs will usually grab around the ears, the neck and the shoulders.

A real fight is characterized when dogs will go for the other dog’s front legs, throat and belly. Real fights are usually caused by anxiety. Environment, experience and elements like nature and nurture can also play a part.These fights can result in major injury or even death.
