Ok, so you’re armed with what to do before the training. Now, it’s time for the training to actually begin! Remember these tips to keep the process fun, smooth and educational!

1.Start the crate training in the morning so your dog has ample time to adapt to the crate.

2.Place food and toys that are attractive to your dog to make him go in on his own.

3.Make sure it is right about your puppy’s naptime the first time you put him in the crate. Make sure he’s gone to the bathroom too!

4.Leave the room but stay in a nearby area where you can hear your puppy.

5.Never let your puppy out even if he whines and cries at first. He must get used to the crate!
