For smooth crate training, please be reminded of the following things:

1. See to it that the crate is large enough for your dig to stand up in and turn around in. The crate should only be this size so your dog does not go to the bathroom and go to sleep in the crate.
2. Be sure to place the crate in a bright space with lots of activity.
3. The crate is your pet’s sanctuary. It is not his time out space. Do not send your dog to the crate to punish him.
4. Put in some of your dog’s most favorite toys in the crate to make it feel more “homey” for him.
