Puppies and Thunderstorms!
You may think this only happens to your dog, but thunderstorm phobias are very common among puppies across the board!
Common sings include hiding under the covers as soon as the rain falls, or burying his face when he sees thunder. Many dogs are petrified by thunderstorms. Some scientists say it may be the change of pressure that they feel, or the unusual sounds and noises that the wind, the rain and the thunder make!
You can do a lot to help your dog feel better. Talk to them and comfort them. You can also try to distract them with a game or a treat. You can even try to drown out the noise outside with music or the tv. If you’re really bothered, you can always go to your local vet and ask for advice.
