You just brought home a puppy and you are excited as being a dog owner. You get to pet the dog all you want and you can take care of it all by yourself. But are you ready to bring home a puppy? Have you bought the things it would need in order to have a comfortable place in your house? Even though it is just a puppy, it is a huge responsibility you took on when you decided to have one. 3. Bedding- your dog should have a comfortable place to sleep in.

Here’s a basic way to train your puppy to go do number 1 and 2 at the right place. In potty training your puppy, exert lots and lots of patience! Be understanding! Expect that your puppy won’t get the trick right away, and that you may be in for a couple of accidents! Compliment your puppy and reward him or her if he’s done a good job! Do not punish your puppy harshly if he doesn’t get it right away! Remember, patience is key!

Feed your puppy the same time each day so that his bathroom breaks become regular as well. Feed your dog around 2 to 3 times a day!

As soon as your puppy is done eating, take him to a grassy area. Now say, " go potty" or "go in the grass" before and while puppy is doing his business. As I mentioned earlier, praise your puppy after he is done! If you train your puppy in this manner, he will associate your words with going potty. Train your puppy in a place where the waste can be easily cleaned up and disposed of. Worms can stay near fecal matter and can make your dog, as well as children sick too!

2.Calcium and Phosphorus- Puppies, like us, need string bones and teeth. And like us, they get these by taking in lots of calcium and phosphorous. Make sure your puppy drinks milk, like you too!

3.Omega Fatty Acids- Build up your puppy’s immune system by giving him a diet rich in Omega Fatty Acids. Fish, like tuna is rich in it, but make sure there are no more bones! You don’t want puppy to choke!

Make sure to give your puppy servings that are just right for his size. You don’t want him becoming overweight either! Obesity in dogs could also lead to all sorts of complications! Also, make sure that your puppy stays away from chocolate and shrimp! Although these things taste good to us people, they cold be poisonous for your puppy, or he may be allergic to them!
