Don’t make your dog dependent on treats to behave well. Start
asking more from him while rewarding him less. In training, keep
the treat in your hand, but don’t give it to him all the time!

In doing so, you are instilling discipline in your dog. You can then
expect him to behave, even if you don’t have a treat for him. It is
also a precautionary measure against your dog gaining too much
weight and consuming too many calories.

So limit the number of treats your pet receives. Trust me, it will pay
off in the long run!
