1. Spend quality time with them. This is more than 5 minutes! Play with them for an afteroon, take them out on walks, or cuddle with them!

2.Make sure the food that you give them is healthy and meant for them. This doesn’t mean feeding them cookies and chocolates which could cause more harm than good.

3.If you suspect something is wrong, never put off getting them to your vet and having them checked on.

4.Make sure you protect them from weather or other daily hazards. They are not really equipped to fend for themselves!

5.Don’t ever forget to update your pets identification tags. Most people forget when they move, or change phone numbers. Updated tags increase the chances of your pet getting returned to you in the event that they get lost.
